Hetta village is a short drive from Kautokeino Sami village, which is over the border in Norway. Wilderness exploration
Paths around the hotel lead in all directions and are suitable for exploration by snowmobile or ski in the winter, and on foot during the summer. You can head to the Pyhäkero hut, Sioskuru, Hannukuru, or Nammala and Monteli - located at the end of Pallas. It's possible to follow up with a snowmobile safari to the nearest fells, or overnight safaris all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
