Hm Balanguera is a beautifully clean and modern hotel with a rooftop pool and seating area where guests enjoy relaxing. Its location allows for an easy walk into town, about 10-15 minutes to the center or 12 minutes to C. de la Fabrica with restaurants and bars. The design is lovely, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are super comfortable; although some guests have noted the absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is great and offers good value.

okay stay, some drawbacks

The room was beautiful, it had a fresh look with white walls. a spacious room featured ac and a private bathroom. the shower was awesome. It was a great way to start each day.

the location wasn't ideal for me, it's a drive from the beach. the swimming pool area was tiny, with seating for just a few couples. the pool was very small, maybe more research was needed.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast had good choices. The hotel has modern rooms equipped for a short break. It is located in a quieter position, however, a 15 minute walk gets you into the city center.

The pool is small. It is 4 meters by 3 meters. The street noise kept me awake both nights. I was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. I did not see any rooms at the rear of the hotel.

temperature control no room service

The rooftop pool was a nice touch offering a spot to relax.

I encountered a few issues . The room lacked temperature control, annoying. there was no room service available. If I wanted something, I had to go downstairs and get it myself. The snack menu was also subpar.

stained hand towels weak water pressure

The staff was kind, even switching my room when the power went out. The location is within walking distance to the city center.

My room had markings on the floor. They looked unsettling, as if from previous guests dragging luggage. the hand towels also had a stain on them, which i found pretty gross, and i wasn't happy about it. the water pressure in the shower was also weak. i won't be returning.

the staff was very helpful and provided information on local transport. breakfast had fresh options like tomatoes, avocado, and local specialties. the bed in my junior suite was comfortable.

the hotel is a bit of a walk from the city center.
