Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Langass Lodge enjoys a lovely location near the loch and standing stones, with some guests even spotting otters. Many find the rooms spacious and comfortable, with room 7 described as particularly splendid, offering views over the beautiful garden that extends into the heather moorland. The food receives high praise, whether from the Bar or Restaurant menu, though a few guests have felt that the decor in some of the smaller rooms is dated. Excellent quality dinner and breakfast are commonly mentioned, with one reviewer pointing out the generous portions of the steak.

Secluded Stay with Great Food

breakfast choicescomfy bedgreat locationfriendly staff
Breakfast included many choices, I thought. Beds felt very comfy after my long journey. The hotel is situated in a great location near the water. The staff was always friendly and helpful, I have to say.
I noticed banging doors along the hallway, unfortunately. I used a towel to stop the door from banging when other doors closed. It was a minor issue, though.
Rooms
9/10
The room provided nice views. It faced a well-kept garden accessible through french doors, I enjoyed that. The ceilings had double height. This created a feeling of spaciousness. The views stretched toward the surrounding landscape.
Location
10/10
The lodge is located very close to the water. This provides a sense of seclusion and tranquility, you know. It offers a direct connection with the surrounding natural environment. I really enjoyed this peace.

Average stay with issues.

vibrating floorintermittent water
Room 5 had some issues. The extractor fan caused the floor to vibrate, that was quite annoying. Showers were difficult because the water didn't run continuously. I asked for more shower gel, but staff didn't knew where housekeeping keeps it.
