this guesthouse is super clean and has many facilities. i used the sauna . the nearby pub called distillers arms provides food and drink. i enjoyed watching badgers at sunset. the location is great with access to the lakeshore. the reception has camping chairs and umbrellas. i found walking maps useful. the bath tub was luxurious.
i didn't see staff often, only a cleaner briefly. breakfast had a discount at a local cafe, not on site. i felt a bit unwelcomed with no one around.

I appreciated the large garden with access to the lake. The Lake room offered a cozy seating area with views of the garden. The hotel has a partnership with a local pub. Guests receive a discount with their room key. The location is quiet, yet it is conveniently close to everything.
I did notice a very slight smell of dogs in some common areas.

The house provides access to a large garden. There is also direct lake access . I appreciated the convenience, as I could quickly reach nearby attractions from the building (everything is walkable).

Breakfast is available at a nearby partner pub (guests can get a discount). The quality and selection at the pub were great (especially the full english breakfast). It made mornings easy and satisfying.

the location is excellent near all attractions and cafés. it is situated on a quiet lane close to the lake (a short walk, really). the hotel includes private access to the lake shore for secluded strolls. the complimentary on-site parking was definitely a plus.
the bed and pillows were firmer than my preference, so my sleep wasn't perfect.

I appreciated the proximity to the lakeshore. It was a wonderful treat. camping chairs were available for guest usage. suggested walking maps at reception were very useful.
I never saw any staff except for a brief encounter with a cleaner. breakfast was only offered at a local cafe with a discount. There were no on-site options. the bed and pillows were too firm, leading to poor sleep.

the bathroom was amazing i also liked the useful information on the area and surroundings. the hotel has charms including a private walk to grasmere and gardens with badger visits. i found the location very pleasant the conservatory had games and local maps.
i did not see any staff apart from a cleaner very briefly. there were no options on site and breakfast was offered at a local cafe. the bed and pillows were too firm so i did not sleep well the room was cold on arrival.
