a MIXED experience
fully booked spa unexpected extra fee
The spa was not included in the room rate, i found that annoying! I expected a "spa hotel" to include spa access. i couldn't even pay to use it because it was fully booked. I wish this had been clearer before i made the reservation. It certainly put a damper on the trip.

mixed feelings about my stay
the location was pretty good as a base for exploring the area.
I have to say, the spa was really not good for the price. It cost extra, and the pool felt cold while the jacuzzi wasn't hot enough, i told the staff, but nothing changed, so my attempt at relaxation failed miserably.

The breakfast buffet included local specialties and varied options. The room provided windows for fresh air and natural breeze during the night. A taxi stand located right in front of the hotel made transportation very convenient. I found it easy to walk to nearby attractions from the hotel.
The air conditioning controls was centrally regulated, and individual adjustments in the room were limited.

The spacious room included good facilities and provided ample space. The room's decor was beautiful. Though the design seemed somewhat dated. I found the furniture and materials to be of high quality.

The hotel's central location allowed easy access to various cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel is near the old town and close to the tram that runs to Santa Cruz. I really appreciated that the hotel was so central.
The room was clean, and I appreciated the spaciousness it offered. Breakfast had a decent selection of food. The hotel is also conveniently located near the historic downtown area.. Staff members were friendly and helpful .
I noticed that the air conditioning controls were not very effective, making it difficult to adjust the room temperature to my liking.
