Lochside Leisure Activities
The loch side hotel is located in an area with red deer, otters, eagles, pine martens and red squirrels. Guests can try sea kayaking along the Scottish coastline and shoreline sea fishing, covering around 20 species. The Kinlochmoidart Estate owns the lochs and river for sport fishing. Boat trips to Staffa, Coll, Muck, or Mull are available to view Minky Whales, Killer Whales, Basking Sharks, seals and Dolphins. Staffa houses Fingals Cave. The hotel's extensive 22 acre grounds, are be it chasing sticks swimming in the loch or sleeping under the shade of a tree.
Highland Location & Transport
Kilcamb Lodge Hotel is in Scotland's West Coast, 200 km from Coll. It offers access to the islands of Mull, Eigg, Rum, Muck, Staffa, Coll and Tiree, as well as the Moydart Morvern and Ardnamurchan Peninsula. A walk or drive through Ardnamurchan reveals seascapes, mountain climbs and beaches. The nearest station is Fort William, with services from Glasgow and the 'Caledonian Sleeper Service' from Euston. The Dragon's Tooth Golf Course at Ballachulish is located on an estate at the entrance to Glencoe, south of Fort William. The road to the beach is a 30-minute drive. En route to Mallaig, the village of Glenfinnan features the Viadict used in the Harry Potter filming.
