the breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast i have ever encountered. the huachinango fish i had at the au pied du cochon restaurant was the best fish i have ever tasted. the gym was amply supplied with a mix of free weights and machines.
i had already paid for a king classic polanco view with club access because it was my birthday week. the gentleman checking in said my room was upgraded (i believe the only difference was they changed me to the park view, which wasn't an upgrade). the first issue was when we got to the room, we noticed the comforter had blood stains. something spilled on the wall next to the chair, and the entry floor didn't look like it had been mopped.
