Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Inglewood Manor is often described as a beautiful, historic manor house set in lovely, peaceful grounds, making it a perfect setting for a romantic getaway. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring unique touches like a four-poster bed. The location is convenient for visiting Beeston Castle and Cheshire Oaks, while the on-site dining, including breakfast, generally receives high marks; however, some guests have occasionally noted that certain bedrooms can be above the kitchens, with associated noise and smells. With its original features and sweeping staircase, the manor exudes an atmosphere of a fairytale.

Good stay

extensive grounds friendly staff good service well-kept grounds
The location worked well for traveling to Liverpool. The grounds are extensive and well-kept. Our room offered a change from typical hotel rooms. All staff members were friendly, always delivering good service (a real plus!).
The rooms show some signs of wear and tear. I noticed some areas where the decor is starting to look a little tired. Overall it was a minor issue.
Dining

The restaurant offers a historical and beautiful room. I ordered lamb for the main course. The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). It included several hot dishes.

Excellent stay!

friendly staff beautiful grounds delicious treats
I found the staff wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. They ALWAYS helped. The grounds are beautiful AND expansive, perfect for a relaxing stroll. I appreciated the festive afternoon tea. The treats tasted delicious and had excellent quality.
The room walls were very thin. I could hear everything in the neighboring rooms. It sounded as if other guests were inside my space!
Dining

The breakfast buffet included many delicious options. It had both hot and cold choices available. I tasted the curry, and it was the best I have had for years. The dining room has a magnificent ceiling.

The staff was very polite. The food was also good.
The bar prices increased on the tills by approximately 30%, but the bar menus did not reflect this. I felt overcharged and this was not resolved . It's frustrating.

nice place for a wedding

amazing day head chef fine house beautiful garden
i was here, my niece got married. what an amazing day it was. john, he is the head chef, showed us kindness. the barbecue was nice. breakfast also was great. the house is really fine and the gardens are beautiful.
the bar menu is poor. a ham sandwich was £7.50. it was just a basic sandwich on a shop bought loaf with crisps. i did not like that.

i had breakfast in the dining area. there were many options. i could choose cooked meals, cereals, pastries, and toast. the cooked breakfast had a range of choices, including eggs, bacon, and sausages.
