Ibis Istanbul Zeytinburnu is conveniently located near the Marmara train line, making travel to the Asian side easy, and a short walk from the BN1 bus station that goes to tourist attractions for a small fee. Some guests were even upgraded to superior double rooms on the 7th floor with sea views, featuring a kettle, mini-fridge, smart TV, air conditioning and a safe. The hotel is modern and clean, and while a few guests have mentioned language barrier issues, the location also offers easy access to a Carrefour Market in the Fisekhane complex.

Just Okay, Some Issues

I am disappointed with a few things. The bathroom drain smelled very bad, and I could not use the bathroom for three days because of that. The hotel was full, so they not offer another room. the air conditioning did not work well, and the room was too hot. I did not expect so many problems.

The sea view from my Standard Room 1 queen-size bed was decent enough.

The housekeeping was a bit INCONSISTENT (if you ask me). Some days, the floor mat was missing, other days the water bottles in the minibar weren't replaced. It's like a lottery. The front office also seemed overloaded. They could definitely use some organizational help (or maybe just a clone machine).

The dining room had a clean and tidy feel. the staff offered helpful and friendly service. i thought the food prices were affordable. room service happened quickly. there were many product options available. i appreciated the convenient location near a train station and buses. it made getting around easy. i also enjoyed a stroll by the sea of marmara during sunset. The view was magnificent. the team offered excellent services. i especially want to mention mr aybars, ms. seray, and mr musa.
