a lovely stay

friendly staff great view relaxing massages

i found this hotel gorgeous. the staff were friendly upon arrival. our room had a great view over the church out to sea. we enjoyed a delicious evening meal and drinks in seed where attentive service was provided and topped it off with some very relaxing massages in the spa the following day.

the gym facilities were not great. there were no barbells. dumbbells only went up to a measly 16kg.

I found the staff very friendly. They were helpful with local attractions. The facilities were well maintained. The beds were quite comfortable.

I found the pillows a bit smelly. The pillowcases were clean. The down pillows underneath had an odor.

The room was very clean and spacious. It contained a coffee machine , and I appreciated the complimentary mineral water. I found bathrobes , slippers , and a safe in the room. The television was large with many international channels.

The area near the hotel was not very nice. The fire alarm activated one night. The air conditioning stopped working at that time, and the elevators were also not functional. I had to use the fire stairs from the ninth floor.

mixed feelings about this stay

confused staff moisture smell

the fire alarm went off one night and the air conditioning stopped working. i had to walk down the fire stairs from the 9th floor. when i got to the lobby, the staff seemed confused (they were just checking people in). also, the room started smelling of moisture, and the pillows smelled like it too. the air con didn't work the last day and just blew out a heavy, musty smell.

A Balanced Experience

The hotel's location provides easy access to various bus routes, connecting to destinations such as Valletta. The staff were very kind and attentive . I especially appreciated the efforts of the team to. The indoor pool was a plus. It was clean and available.

The gym did not meet my expectations. It lacked barbells and had dumbbells only up to 16kg. The breakfast buffet also presented some issues. It lacked fresh fruit and the hot dishes were not always hot. Some mornings the breakfast room felt very crowded.
