convenient location helpful staff poor service ruined experience
the staff were great and helpful. the hotel is in a very convenient location. it was only a five minute walk from the town centre. a ten minute walk got me to the bus station.
i was disappointed the quality of service was very poor. at breakfast at 10 o'clock, they played a recording, breakfast was closed. it was not even one minute past 10, WHAT a ruined experience.

non-functional sockets unconcerned staff
The room was dated, and certain amenities fell short of expectations. Electrical sockets in my room were non-functional, as were the bedside lights. The staff seemed unconcerned during check-out when I reported it. The bathroom felt smaller than anticipated (it was cramped)

Solid Stay with Noteworthy Breakfast
convenient parking standout breakfast generous space
The hotel offered convenient parking. I found the breakfast to be a standout feature, especially the skyir, its quality unmatched by other places I visited. The room provided generous space. The reception had a friendly gentleman at the desk.
The hot water smelled of sulphur. This can be attributed to the volcanic water source.

The room was clean and well-kept with a pleasant atmosphere. I appreciated the jazz music in the lounge. It created a nice, inviting vibe, and breakfast each morning had homemade cakes, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and smoked salmon.

nice coffee good breakfast dated decoration online photos
The breakfast was good. I got there early and everything was available! the coffee in my junior suite was really nice, too, which i appreciated.
The dated decoration in the room was noticeable. It could use some updating. the photos online looked a bit better, maybe they used filters or something.

unreliable tv signal faulty charging points
the on-site parking was free, helpful given the location.
The tv signal was unreliable. It kept cutting out, and usb charging points were faulty too. this made it difficult to relax in the room after a day of exploring.

Wonderful Art and Comfort!
helpful directions city exploration really good knowledge
Gabriella at the front desk offered helpful directions for public transport. She even accommodated my luggage after checkout. This allowed more city exploration. Antonis booked perfect Pink Iceland tours and taxis. His knowledge of Iceland's history was really good.
The breakfast selection was somewhat limited. This affected the overall dining experience slightly.

Staff members provided really good service. They stored baggage, prepared early breakfasts, and assisted with tour bookings. Antonis especially was patient with schedule changes and eager to assist with all questions.

The hotel features convenient on-site parking and elevator access. Public areas display fine artwork. Tea and coffee facilities are available. The location provides easy access to the bus station and main attractions.
