i appreciated the hotel's vintage charm my room had a high ceiling that added to the spacious feel the staff was friendly and helpful especially with local tips the edmond restaurant was fantastic with delicious meals and drinks

the staff proved reasonably friendly at times.
The room reeked strongly of stale cigarette smoke. It permeated everything. the noise levels were atrocious. constant traffic outside the paper-thin windows made sleep nearly impossible. i also noted a rather disturbing stain on the bedding, a detail i found utterly unacceptable.

The hotel is secure, and the staff are very polite people. The staff working at the back parking lot is good. They help park cars. The room was clean. It had a firm, large bed. The bakery on the northwest corner had sweets and coffee. It was very good. Parking was availaable.
The toilet was not up to the mark. It feels like going back some years. The facilities were very basic for the price.

This location is on Melrose avenue. It is close to a lot of things. Paramount pictures is a few blocks walk away. This is very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet. This created a more peaceful visit.
