historic charm, minor setback

the building had a wonderful architectural style. our room featured thoughtful details, with a large comfortable bed. breakfast had a nice selection of items, it worked well for me. i loved how clean everything was.
the owners did not. i asked for an umbrella once, and they refused immediately. this, i did not liked.

the hotel is in a central location near main tourist attractions. this made it easy to walk to key sites and explore the area. i appreciated the easy access.

the front desk was generally helpful when i needed assistance. the staff quickly addressed requests, i found this efficient. daily cleaning kept the rooms tidy .

The location was quite good, near the cathedral (basically next door).
The hotel was a bit of a letdown. The bathroom had a glass door with little in the way of privacy (not ideal for a romantic getaway). The shower head lacked a place to hang it. I had to sit down to shower.

charming stay

the location was central, so getting around was easy. the restored building had a nice blend of modern and traditional elements. the room was spacious with a big, comfortable bed. i found the daily cleaning services to be great... it kept everything tidy.
the bathroom door being made of glass wasn't ideal. it felt less private than i would have liked. a solid door would have provided better sound isolation.
