the space felt well planned, so movement was easy without hitting furniture.
i was annoyed that the air conditioning made noise constantly, even when turned off (it seemed pointless to even have it). also, the two televisions in the room did not work. i reported it at the reception, but nothing changed .

the location was acceptable, being near paddington station.
my room's shower water didn't drain properly so i had to ask them to clean it. it didn't work and i had to take very short showers. the tv also didn't work and it took three calls and a trip to reception to get someone to fix it.

musty odorpoor lighting
the room did have a musty odor that i found UNSAVORY. the air conditioning unit was rather noisy and difficult TO adjust. i also found the lighting in the bathroom to be quite poor, especially for shaving.

The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was easy! The location really is excellent. I had some issues with the check-in process, but the receptionist assisted in the best way possible was good. Colin provided timely and friendly service, too, and I was accommodated for early check in and use of hotel amenities.

Miriam at the front desk helped me check in early, a service I greatly appreciated. This early access allowed me to comfortably conduct my business meetings using Teams from my room. I found the entire experience quite satisfactory (especially the quiet atmosphere).
