The Highlander Inn has 8 en-suite bedrooms in the main building. Room choices include double (one large bed) and twin (two single beds), also available for single occupancy. Each room includes tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, digital television with Freeview, a radio, a hairdryer, and blackout curtains. For more space, book the family suite, which includes an extra sofa bed. A separate house is just 35 metres away from the main building; it features 3 en-suite rooms and is suited for families or small groups. All rooms have been renovated to a modern standard while retaining a traditional Scottish character. One ground-floor room enables access for disabled guests with a 'wet room', plumbed-in power showers, and non-slip flooring.
Dining and Drinks
The Highlander Inn serves meals and drinks for guests to enjoy, prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Meats are selected from Mackie's Butcher in Aberlour. The bar offers a selection of beers, wines, ciders, and spirits, including over 300 whiskies. Sample various distilleries and bottlers. Coffees such as cappuccinos and latte macchiatos, along with a digestif malt whisky, are also available. Bar lunches and dinners are served from 12 noon to 2:00 pm and from 5:30 to 9:00 pm daily. Food is served all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Outdoor and Whisky Bar
The bar's design is by Japanese designer and artist Takeshi Abe, who also designed labels for Ichiro's Malt Card series. Outside the bar is a large patio, ideal for summer dining and drinks, with an extra raised deck. The Whisky Bar at the Highlander Inn is very popular and the bar staff pride themselves on their whisky knowledge.
