The staff was helpful. Breakfast offered many options. I received complimentary port wine in the room upon arrival. I could also leave my luggage after checkout as I had a late flight.
The minibar did not include complimentary soft drinks, only water.

the day porter made an effort to offer my father an espresso when he went for his morning cigarette. the night porter was very nice to talk with later in the day (i enjoyed our chats). i also definitely put on a pound or two because of the complimentary tarts offered in the lobby.
there was no coffee or tea making option in the room. instead, port wine was offered.

the location is perfect for travel plans. the train station is very close. the hotel is located on the main avenue, also walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and plazas.

the room was clean and cozy. there was a welcome gift in the room with porto wine and water bottles. the hotel also provides extra drinks, like coffee, tea and porto wines with sole cookies, in the lobby.

The hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee, pastries, and port throughout the day. This feels very cute after sightseeing. our room included a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds with high-quality bedding. i thought the ambience here was lovely from the minute i arrived and there were no pretensions. the staff were friendly and created a cute atmosphere.
the breakfast selection had limited fruit and pastry options, particularly on the weekend. i hope they improve this to offer a consistent experience daily. this small change would certainly enhance future stays.

The gym was smaller than expected. the equipment looked worn and outdated. i expected a more modern fitness area. the plunge pool was out of service during my entire stay. This was disappointing and limited my relaxation options.

I found the location convenient. The hotel staff was friendly. I liked the complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and port available all day. It.!! The late breakfast was also a nice perk.
I noticed that some fresh towels had spots. The bathroom cleaning could be more thorough.
