Ye Olde Griffin is a popular choice thanks to its central location in March, offering the convenience of free parking. Guests often enjoy the comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms, some of which are dog-friendly with thoughtful amenities like water stations and treats. The pub downstairs is a definite highlight, with delicious and filling food, especially the beef chilli jacket and chilli cheese nuggets; however, a few guests have mentioned low water pressure in the showers. Many appreciate the range of activities offered throughout the week, including quiz nights, bingo, and carvery evenings.

the staff was friendly from arrival. the room was clean and well-equipped with more than expected.. we found a lively bar area and the food was quite good. it offered a central location that was beneficial.
The water pressure in the shower was very poor. i spent much time adjusting it, but it did not improve. the bed consisted of two smaller ones pushed together. They differed in hardness, made sleep challenging.

The shower's water pressure was TERRIBLE! I struggled to rinse off properly. the bed consisted of two singles pushed together. These two things REALLY let the overall impression down.
