The Golden Odyssey Hotel offers standard, superior, and family rooms. Each air-conditioned room features a satellite flat-screen TV. Rooms include a mini-fridge, a furnished balcony, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Family rooms have four beds, either open plan or partly separated, and a bath with shower. Superior and standard rooms have one bedroom with either one double bed and two or three single beds, or two single beds.
Dining Options
The hotel restaurant serves buffet-style meals with theme nights. Local wine, local drought beer, and soft drinks are included during lunch and dinner. The main bar offers premium and international drinks (available at extra charge). Local alcoholic drinks and listed cocktails are served from 17:00 to 23:00. Options of Filter coffee, tea, chocolate, milk, juices, and tab water are available. For healthy and safety reasons, taking food or drinks out of the restaurant is not allowed. For aesthetic reasons, dinner in shorts or sleeveless shirts is not permitted.
Leisure and Activities
The Golden Odyssey features fresh water swimming pools, waterslides for adults and children, and a sun terrace. Guests can enjoy tennis, table tennis (deposit required), volleyball, and boccia. Animation is provided six times per week with daily activities and night shows from June 1st to September 30th. A mini club, mini disco, playground, and integrated children's pool are available for younger guests. Beach/pool towels are available with a deposit.
Location and Transport
Located in Kolymbia, Rhodes, the Golden Odyssey is 30 km from Diagoras Airport. The hotel is 1100 meters from the center of Kolymbia, with its shops, restaurants, pubs, and discos. A daily shuttle bus operates to one of the island's beaches, approximately 950 meters away. Buses for Rhodes Town depart at 07:30, 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 15:30, and 18:00.
