the super clean room had new fixtures and fittings. i appreciated the quietness, especially with the roomy double bed. i found the staff friendly and always accomodating to my needs. the bar provided nice evenings while the breakfast room offered a calm start to my days.

the stairs proved tricky with suitcases because my room was on the second FLOOR. navigating them became a slight inconvenience.

The location proved convenient (i was able to quickly access nearby amenities). i found the proprietor accommodating, allowing an early check-in. the shower had good water pressure. It was a welcome surprise after a long travel day.

i noticed slight wear in the decorwith scuffs on the woodwork.
