The staff was friendly and helpful. They let me check in early. dinner and breakfast had good food and drink. the location worked well for the coast to coast path. secure bike storage was very helpful.
The music from the bar was loud past midnight. It was directly below my room.

the staff were friendly!
The breakfast was not good. it was supposed to be continental or à la carte, but they only had continental. the pastries were not nice. They were wrapped in cellophane and seemed old.
