“Old George Hotel has a genuine historic feel, as a listed 16th-century building, and its pub culture, complete with live music, seems a real draw. It's pet-friendly too, which is a nice touch, plus you're well-placed for Silverstone and Bletchley Park. The value here, mixing history with modern comfort, could be a smart choice.”

clean roomunbearable noisewater temperature
the room was clean, which i guess is the bare minimum.
The noise was unbearable. I heard every conversation and door slam from the pub below. the street noise was just as bad. I could hardly sleep! i also had issues with the shower. It was difficult to get the temperature right, and i only got either ice-cold or scalding water.

decent stay with some issues

moldy smellthin walls
I wasn't thrilled with the experience. our bathroom had a noticeable moldy smell. It felt damp and lacked proper ventilation. plus, the tv volume was very low, even at a high setting. the walls are thin. I could hear everything from neighboring rooms, like people coughing and talking.
