Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests frequently praise the spacious and well-equipped rooms at The George Inn, finding them comfortable and spotlessly clean, along with the modern bathrooms. The Inn's location in the heart of the village, overlooking traditional Sussex houses, is often mentioned as a highlight, especially for those visiting attractions like the Rother Valley Railway and Oastbrook vineyard. Many also enjoy the food served in the pub, for both dinner and breakfast, though some have noted that it can get quite noisy due to the pub setting, particularly on weekends.

okay, but had some issues

small heater dim lights
The breakfast included a stem of vine tomatoes with the full english. It was a nice touch.
the room at times felt cold. a very small heater was provided and it was not enough for the room size. most of the wall lights in the room were very dim, and some didn't work making it difficult to see.

Wonderful Stay

friendly staff clean room great service
The staff were really good and friendly. I found the room large and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. We loved the nice bathroom and good choice at breakfast.
The kettle was across the room from the cups. The fridge containing milk was also far away. This made preparing hot drinks slightly inconvenient.
