I liked how close the hotel was to everything. It made visiting easy. the room felt clean when i arrived. the bed provided good support, i didn't wake up with a back ache. the italian restaurant connected to the building was a plus.
the old carpet on the main stairs had a noticeable odor, it could use replacing.

the room felt dusty upon arrival. also, it was noisy because of the main road. i was unable to keep the window open to cool the room at night due to the noise.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. They quickly provided a room with a bedside light. the fresh, white cotton sheets added a nice touch to the room. the location is excellent. I could easily walk to various historical sites, a definite plus for exploring the area. the hotel offered free parking, very convenient for my travel arrangements.
the stairs were a bit much, especially after a long day of exploring as there is no lift.
