friendly staff great concierge historic hotel dirty carpet worn carpet lack cleaning

The staff was friendly. We used the concierge for planning some days. And we got a massage that felt very good. I enjoyed the beautiful and historic hotel.

The carpet in my room looked with some schmutz and wasn't removed during the 3 days of the stay. It appears no one did any vacuuming. Also the carpet in the elevator looked dirty and worn. I did not expect that from a hotel of that rank.

awesome breakfast convenient location outdated equipment gym facilities

the breakfast had a fantastic offering of both cold and hot dishes. i noticed the location was very convenient, with many shops and restaurants just around the corner.

the gym facilities seemed a little outdated. i found that some equipment was out of order, and it was maintenance hadn't been done in a while.

dated room disruptive noise

the location was central to many attractions , which was convenient.

The room felt very dated. i found the noise from outside quite disruptive , especially at night. the lack of sufficient power outlets near the bed was frustrating . I had trouble charging my devices overnight.
