Powered by AI
Fosshotel Reykjavik is often praised for its convenient location, placing guests within easy walking distance of Reykjavik's main attractions. The spacious rooms, especially those on higher floors like the 10th and 15th, offer great inland or ocean views, some equipped with Nespresso coffee machines and UK TV channels. Many appreciate the bathrooms featuring both a bath and separate shower, enhanced by the comfort of heated floors; however, a few guests have noted the rooms can sometimes get warm as they may lack air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the varied breakfast buffet and some even received room upgrades with treats to celebrate special occasions.

Great Stay!

warm welcomeclean roomunderfloor heating
Check-in was swift and I received a warm welcome. I secured a room on the seventh floor. This room had a nice size and cleanliness. The bathroom featured both a tub and a separate shower with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel bottles. The underfloor heating was a luxurious treat.
I noticed that breakfast had a limited selection of bread. It also lacked variety in toppings to put on the bread.

The hotel features a restaurant with diverse cuisine options. a bar with an extensive drink list I noted. The fitness center provides a range of equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, and free weights. Parking is available onsite, with direct access to hotel elevators.

Excellent Location and Clean Rooms

i was quickly checked in upon arrival. the lobby had lovely christmas decorations.. i especially liked that. our room was on the seventh floor. it was a nice size and very clean. the bathroom included both a bath and a separate shower with complimentary shampoo and conditioner. the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a bonus. the bed was comfortable.
i did think the coffee and tea cup sizes during the buffet breakfast were far too small. getting refills was a bit of a pain since the area was very crowded in the mornings.
