charming Boutique Stay

clean room included parking excellent breakfast close location

The room was clean and nicely decorated. I appreciated the included parking space. I also found the breakfast WONDERFUL. The hotel location is close to the sea.

The room did not have a refrigerator, a slight inconvenience.

uneven stay overall.

carpet stains missing cover

The 'superior king room shower' i booked felt far from it. there were some stains on the carpet which, while not a huge deal, weren't what i expect. the television remote was missing its battery cover. It fell off every time i picked it up. it was just annoying, and definitely not a luxury experience.

Decent Hotel with Service Issues

unmanned reception unfriendly staff

The service felt quite poor . I had a light meal before check-in, and when I went to check in, the reception was completely empty. A staff member said they didn't know what to do (which was odd). Breakfast was also a letdown. The staff were chatting among themselves and didn't acknowledge us. (I think that is unacceptable in a 4-star hotel.)

The eating areas were nice, both inside and out. The location is close to the sea front and local attractions. I pre-booked parking, available at the hotel (down a narrow street).

The bathroom needed a little more cleaning.

professional staff quiet location lovely room grey towels missing refrigerator faulty curtain

The staff was professional and efficient. The location is very quiet, yet close to the beach. The room was lovely and quiet, great for a good night's sleep.

The towels had a grey tinge. There was no refrigerator in the room. The curtain did not close properly, I could hear conversations from the room above.
