lovely stay in country pub
easy check intasty mealfriendly staff
check in was easy and the room was comfortable. the evening meal was very tasty and i did enjoy the breakfast. the staff were friendly.
pillows were hard and someone had used toilet before we got in room. bathroom had smell of stale drainwater.

i found ample parking immediately upon arrival. the room was newly decorated, a detail i certainly noticed. i also appreciated the generous supply of hot beverages available in the room (coffee and tea were great).
the bathroom lights flickered intermittently, hindering their use, which i found inconvenient.

the staff were friendly and efficient , and the food was excellent.
the room was labelled as "beautiful" , but i'm not really sure what was beautiful about it. it seemed just like any other hotel room. this made the cost of the room quite expensive , i think it was only worth close to half what we paid.

I booked an executive king room dog friendly. The room was clean. The pillows felt a bit too hard. i noticed someone had used the toilet before i even got there. sadly the bathroom had a stale drainwater smell.

The breakfast buffet was AMAZING!!! It included juice, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and croissants. A coffee machine offered hot and endless top-ups. The dog particularly enjoyed a Lincolnshire sausage and water.
The walls felt thin. I heard doors banging and TVs from other rooms. People's conversations were also audible. I found it overall poor and got very little sleep.
