Historic Hotel Falken offers 37 uniquely designed guest rooms, each embodying the hotel's history. Guests can select from Standard, Superior, Family Interconnecting, Single, and Junior Suite options. Standard rooms offer north-facing (village view) or south-facing (mountain view) options with a shower or bath. Superior rooms are spacious and feature a balcony, a large bathroom with bath, and views facing north or south. Family Interconnecting Rooms consist of two standard rooms with an interconnecting door and one bathroom with a bath, offering north or south-facing views and the option to add an extra bed. Single rooms offer views of the Jungfrau or the village, with a shower. The Junior Suite includes a double room, a second floor with twin beds, a living room with an optional couch bed, and a large bathroom, accommodating up to six people, with mountain and valley views. Each room includes ironing facilities, heating, a sitting area, garden furniture, free toiletries, carpeted or parquet floors, and chocolate.
Dining at Falken
The Falken features a dining room, piano room, and bar with views of Wengen. A breakfast buffet is available from 7 AM to 10 AM in the historical dining room. The restaurant serves a daily four-course menu where guests choose their main course from fish, meat, or vegetarian options, with dinner served from 7 PM to 9 PM. The bar offers wines, spirits, cocktails, and beers. The hotel also has a garden with views of the Jungfrau and Valley, used for dinners, buffets, BBQs, and special events during the summer.
Leisure and Activities
Hotel Falken is near many shorter and longer trails within and around the village. Guests can also join the First or Mürren/Schilthorn ski area. Wengen offers activities in every season, including sledging runs, ice skating, mountaineering, off-piste skiing, and heli-glacier skiing. The hotel organizes guided walks and snowshoeing tours. Guests may participate in different activities and events during the week.
