Fairy Knowe Hotel is on the banks of the Touws River, part of the Wilderness National Park. The hotel forms part of the greater Wilderness Nature Reserve and Estuary. Wilderness is one of only five documented areas in the world that has sea, rivers, lakes, and mountain ranges within a five-kilometer radius. Landmarks nearby include Palms Garden Square (2 km), Ebb & Flow Rest Camp (1.5 km), and Wilderness National Park (2.5 km). It is 30 km from George. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from George Airport.
