The hotel grounds were beautiful. i liked the gardens and the old abbey building. the vegetarian breakfast was delicious and offered a good start to my days. I appreciated the variety.
i found that the pool area was small, with used towels on the floor. all beds had wet towels on them despite only four people being there.

The room featured comfy beds. I enjoyed beautiful views from the room! It also had great space. The room matched the style of this old hotel. It had creaky floors which I expected. I found many extras in the hotel.
The lounge was a little busy and there was no table set for us when we wanted to eat dinner. I would have liked a quieter dining experience.
