Acceptable Stay. Room for Improvement.
lack hot water unsoundproof room
The shower lacked hot water. I found the bed to be the worst I have ever slept on, with springs poking me all night and no support. The room was not soundproof at all. I could hear and smell the kitchen to the restaurant downstairs, as well as other guests chatting and walking around the hotel. It was also a ways from the city center.

Charming Stay Close to the City
handy bus stop helpful communication super clean room
The bus stop is conveniently across the street. A ride goes straight to the city center. I appreciated the prompt and helpful communication I had with the staff before arrival. I enjoyed the super clean room .
The bathroom could use some updates, especially the taps. It took quite a while to get hot water.

convenient location indian restaurant available breakfast road noise cold bathroom strange lighting
the location was definitely convenient it was easy to get to the city centre i appreciated that the bus stop was right across from the hotel breakfast was available which was a plus i also found an indian street food restaurant next door
the road noise was quite noticeable it sounded like the windows were open even though they weren't the bathroom was also very cold compared to the bedroom i noticed the lighting in the bathroom was a bit odd it was fixed with some aluminium

wonderful stay near portobello beach
warm welcome bus stop clean room
I received a warm welcome from the staff. They were really helpful. the location was great with a bus stop right outside the hotel. it made getting into the city center very easy. the room felt safe, clean, and it had everything i needed.
the bathroom felt cold, and i think a heater there would be helpful.

My room included toiletries. tea and coffee facilities. the bed was very comfortable, and the room was decorated nicely. It had a large television. i could also see the sea from my window.

there is a restaurant next door, which i thought was very convenient. it has a modern interior design and the food seemed delicious! it is a great option for a romantic dinner, i think.

the hotel is near portobello beach, so you just turn left and walk down the hill. it's also easy to get around the city because there is a bus stop just outside. it was well located for getting into the city.

The owner was helpful. The hotel was clean. It had all I needed. The location was suitable for transport.
