“What began as a late nineteenth-century hotel now welcomes guests with multilingual staff, friendly service, and surprisingly good pizza thanks to a Portuguese chef. Near the train station and with views facing the great triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfraü, the location makes it a practical base for exploring Mürren. I'd happily return for the warm atmosphere and mountain vistas.”

The hotel is right across the street from the train station. The room offered good quality beds and linen. A balcony provided views directly to the mountains. Breakfast had good options.

the breakfast had a nice variety and the staff was friendly to me.
the room I booked was very small. i could hear everything from the adjacent room because of a door connected the rooms. this door meant little privacy and lots of noise.
