Hotel Edelweiss Superior offers single rooms, double rooms, superior rooms with sofa beds, and junior suites. Rooms include cable TV, telephones, WiFi, hair dryers, and safes. Many rooms feature balconies. Panorama rooms offer views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. All rooms have a shower or tub.

Dining at Edelweiss

The restaurant offers Swiss cuisine, pizza, pasta, burgers, vegetarian meals, and grilled specialties. A breakfast buffet is available with coffee, tea, rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit spreads, honey, muesli, yogurt, and boiled eggs from 7:00 to 9:30 am. A four-course dinner is available with half board. The restaurant is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm in summer, and 7:00 am to 9:00 pm in winter. The bar is open from 4:00 to 10:00 pm in winter.

Leisure Activities

The hotel provides free admission to the Alpine Sports Centre Mürren, featuring an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. An ice skating rink is available in winter. Guests can access 800 km of hiking trails in the Jungfrau region and single trails for biking. Climbing is available on the Mürrenfluh. Paragliding tandem flights can be booked at the reception. A ski cellar with a ski boot warmer is available. A climbing trail lies within a 5-minute walk. A 12 km cross-country and skating trail is accessible with the Schilthorn cable car and the BLM.

Hotel Edelweiss Superior enjoys a location on the edge of the Mürrenfluh rock face in car-free Mürren, 290 meters from Mürren BLM and 70 km from Belp Airport. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mürrenbahn cable car station and a 10-minute walk from the Schilthornbahn cable car station. The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the ski slope. Mürren is accessible from Lauterbrunnen via the BLM or from Stechelberg via the Schilthornbahn cable car. Zurich Airport is approximately 3 1/4 hours away by train.

The reception desk is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Luggage transportation is available from Mürren stations between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm upon request. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
