“Easington Guest House, a 15th-century farmhouse near Banbury's center, immediately appealed to me with its blend of historic charm and modern comfort, and I think this makes it a worthwhile option. The smaller size ensures a personal touch, complemented by a full English breakfast with local ingredients. Its proximity to the Cotswolds and the offer of conference facilities create a balanced choice for both leisure and business travelers, in my opinion.”

A stay with some downsides.

small double bed noisy room
The double bed in my room was surprisingly small. It felt more like a single. I could hear other guests and their televisions at times. The room overlooked the side garden, I would have preferred a quieter view. The car park was in view.

charming house stay

kind staff huge room clean room
i found the staff super kind and informative. the room was huge with its own bathroom. everything felt very clean and i felt very looked after. the welcome upon arrival was great and the house fully met my needs.
i experienced some noise from people walking and talking in the room above. the sound proofing could be improved since it is an old building. this kept me awake during the night.

underwhelming stay

significant noise poor picture
the staff offered a warm welcome upon my arrival.
The room felt quite dated, especially considering the price. The television was small and the picture quality was poor. there was significant noise from the nearby road and it disturbed my sleep. breakfast had to be ordered the day before, i didn't see that mentioned clearly.

dirty shower cheap sausages
i was a little disappointed. the bathroom wasn't as clean as i would have liked, there was some hair in the shower, it wasn't mine. the tv remote didn't work, and i had to get up to change the channels. breakfast was okay, not great, the sausages tasted a bit cheap to me.
