Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Ingleside House is often described as a beautifully furnished manor, where guests appreciate the spacious and well-equipped rooms - some even feature charming views, for example, directly onto the river Churn. Many highlight the hotel's proximity to Cirencester's town centre and the local theatre, making it easy to explore the area and visit attractions like the museum. The breakfast menu could be more extensive, according to some guests, however the hotel is a strategically located base for exploring the Cotswolds. A guest lounge is provided for additional relaxation.

the room has unique, quirky decor i enjoyed. i found a really nice sitting room with great art. Breakfast was quality, everything tasted fresh. the staff there gave first class service.

charming stay

convenient room generous space convenient parking secure entrance
The receptionist offered us a convenient room on the first floor, near the entrance hall stairs. the room offered generous space and a warm feel. i found parking across the road very convenient. A definite plus for anyone driving. i liked the secure entrance upon returning late at night.
The tv didn't connect to the antenna, so we couldn't access channels or hotel info pages. It was a small hiccup though.

Acceptable Stay

comfy bed full length mirror coffee machine worn rooms unfinished drywall poor design
The hotel had a guest lounge, a rarity. My room had everything I could possibly need, space, comfy bed, full length mirror and decent tv. There was also a coffee machine, fresh milk and a huge bottle of chilled water. The public car park opposite is free from 6pm to 8am.
The rooms are feeling slightly worn. The towel hooks in our bathroom were falling off the wall. You could see the unfinished drywall around the sink in the bathroom. The glass door to the bathroom was a poor design choice. it lights up the entire room every time someone uses the bathroom at night.

Satisfactory Visit

helpful staff walk-in shower glass door toilet position
The staff were both helpful and attentive. The room featured a walk-in shower, which I prefer. The breakfast offered good choices and my evening meal was well cooked and presented.
The bathroom had a glass door. It was meant to be privacy glass, but one could see through it. The toilet was positioned right in front of the door, this didn't help since the bed faced it too.
