the room featured a nespresso coffee maker, a great bonus. the staff was warm and hospitable, always ready to help. breakfast offered an excellent selection, prepared wonderfully.
the room, though smaller, was still very comfortable, but the sink was quite small.

excellent stay

great location period details great breakfast parking spaces
i enjoyed the hotel location, within walking distance of the town. the decoration features period details throughout. breakfast offered variety, it was served by staff. there were enough parking spaces, despite a steep incline to the side.
the wooden bed frame cracked due to room temperature. light seeped in under the door at night. i also saw light coming in from the windows despite the curtains.

Breakfast offered excellent choices. The full English was superb, with fresh ingredients. I found the bed super comfy. I slept soundly. Hot water flowed freely for baths.
The room I had was not cleaned well enough, especially the toilet. I asked about it, but the cleaning was still subpar. At night, light came in under the door. Light also came in from the windows despite closed curtains.

friendly staff great view delicious breakfast
The staff was helpful and friendly. I had a room that gave a great view of royal crescent. Breakfasts were well presented and delicious. They were a real TREAT.
The cleaning standard of the toilet and bathroom was not good. The toilet was dirty when I arrived and remained so for the duration of my stay. The bathroom was not cleaned adequately either.

The hotel sits a short walk from the city center, roughly fifteen minutes. This distance provides a bit of quiet away from the main tourist areas. The walk back from the town is uphill though, so be prepared.
