Die Waldruhe features 27 nature rooms, each with stone pine wood beds and furniture, natural wood floors, and a seating area decorated in warm colors. Rooms include a spacious wardrobe, a designer table, mood lighting, and a flat-screen TV. Bathrooms have showers, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a vanity mirror. All 25 individually decorated rooms also feature premium bedding and furnished balconies, as well as laptop-friendly workspaces and bathrobes. Rooms offer stylish natural baths with rain showers.
Onsite Dining
The property offers an East Tyrolean breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., featuring products directly from the farmer and home-baked bread. The restaurant serves a wide range of Austrian and international dishes and fine Austrian wines. Included in half-board are cheese, cold cuts, fresh egg variants, coffee specialties, organic tea, strudel and cake from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and evening cuisine from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. The evening cuisine includes salads and antipasti from the buffet, soup, a main course choice between meat from the Lesachtal, fish from Greifenburg, and vegan/vegetarian dishes, and dessert. A 5-course surprise menu is available every Sunday, and there is a barbecue every Wednesday in summer.
Leisure Facilities
Die Waldruhe's spa facilities include a sauna, a steam bath, and an infra-red cabin. Guests can enjoy an outdoor tennis court. Various activities in the surroundings include skiing, cycling, and hiking. Guests can explore the area with horse riding, mountain climbing, and cave exploring. Guests can treat themselves to a sports massage at the onsite spa.
Location and Activities
Die Waldruhe welcomes you at the beginning of two hiking valleys. Hiking and trails, as well as a cross-country ski run, are very close. The Lesach Valley, the South Tyrolean Dolomites, and the Villgraten Valley can be reached in just a few minutes by car. A large network of groomed winter hiking trails leads directly through Kartitsch. The Dorfberglift, the longest drag lift in Austria, and routes with different levels of difficulty to 2500 meters in altitude are nearby. Vierschach-Helm Gondola and Sexten-Helm Gondola are nearby.

Die Waldruhe provides east Tyrolean breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Payment for the hotel bill, including services, is due on the day of departure. The property offers a charging station with 2 charging points (22kW AC) directly in front of the hotel. Included services consist of products directly from the farmer, home-baked bread, and barbecue evenings every Wednesday from the Ofyre Grill (in summer).
