The restaurant "Alte Mühle" is next door. A rich breakfast buffet with East Tyrolean products is included, served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, featuring cakes, croissants, and mini muffins. "Alte Mühle" offers Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine with Tyrolean and Mediterranean dishes, plus regional beers and wines.
Leisure and Recreation
AlpenParks Montana Matrei offers access to the in-house sauna. Massages are available upon request. E-bikes are available for hire from summer 2024. Winter activities include full moon snowshoe tours, tobogganing, horse sleigh rides, ice climbing at Icepark Osttirol, and access to 350 kilometers of slopes at Grossglockner Resort. Summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, canyoning, and rafting on the Isel River.

Located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, AlpenParks Montana Matrei is 100 meters from the town center of Matrei in East Tyrol and 200 km from W. A. Mozart. The Goldriedbahn cable car is 500 meters away, providing access to the Grossglockner Resort. Nearby landmarks include Nationalparkregion Hohe Tauern Osttirol (1 km), Goldriedsee (4 km), and Grosser Zunig (4.5 km).
