ample seating excellent salmon
I was pleased with the breakfast selection available each morning. i especially enjoyed the scrambled egg. The quality of smoked salmon was very good. I also appreciated that the lounge and bar offered ample seating and space .
the staircase to my room was VERY narrow, a little inconvenient when i was carrying my luggage.

average stay WITH SOME ISSUES
poor soundproofing breakfast service
the location provided convenient access to nearby attractions.
I found the lack of soundproofing quite disruptive so i could hear noise from other rooms and hallways. the breakfast service fell short of expectations because plates were not cleared promptly. i was also not happy with the abrupt manner in which my pricing inquiry was addressed, leaving a negative impression.

a mixed experience
peeling paint visible dust
the location was acceptable. it was a short walk to bus stops.
the room was noticeably dated. i saw visible dust and cobwebs. the bathroom ceiling had peeling paint (this was quite unsightly) and also black marks.

lovely stay!
convenient location easy parking short walk
I really appreciated the short walk to the city center. the location was convenient (close to bus stops). parking was also available. I was able to park my car easily. it.
the lack of soundproofing was a problem. i could clearly hear other guests walking in the hallway. this interrupted my sleep a few times during the night.

the courtyard single room included basic amenities. the room was clean upon arrival. i found the size adequate for a single traveler (a small room but sufficient for one person).

Breakfast featured a buffet selection. I thought the gluten-free toast was a nice option. cooked breakfast was served at the table. the breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).

clean room delicious breakfast reasonable distance no air conditioning fixed shower head repeated flushing
The location is within reasonable walking distance to the town center. The room was clean upon my arrival. Breakfasts was delicous, a positive aspect of this hotel.
The room lacked both air conditioning and a refrigerator. The bathroom looked somewhat dated with a fixed shower head. I had to repeatedly flush the toilet.
