the staff were cute and always ready to assist. i found the cleanliness perfect throughout the hotel. the location could not be more convenient being right in the town square, though the grounds were serene. the well kept gardens provided a peaceful retreat!
the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking, though the bed itself was very comfortable.

Adequate, but some Disappointments

I thought the room looked rather dreary. The shower had a big brown stain in the corner. I Washed it away. The floorboards of the room above us seemed very thin and noisy.

The location was perfect with direct access to the market square. free parking was available for our rental car. the facilities have a traditional english feel, charming really, and the decor is beautiful. I was charmed by the outdoor garden with tables and seating.
i did notice there was no ac, but a floor fan was provided in the room.

I found the location convenient. It sits right on the square. the hotel gave me a useful map, marking routes. i walked to lower slaughter and bourton-on-the-water. the st edward's door stood very close.
the bedroom seemed a bit dreary, especially since it wasn't in the main building. i noticed a large brown stain in the shower. thin floorboards above made noises. guests returning late at night disturbed my sleep.
