Hotel Costa Verde provides air-conditioned rooms, each with a TV, balcony, and full kitchen that includes a refrigerator and kitchenware. Accommodations include a refurbished 1965 Boeing 727 fuselage suite featuring hand-carved teak furniture and Costa Rican teak paneling. The 727 suite includes two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and another with one queen bed, each having a private bath, flat-screen TV, kitchenette with a microwave, and a dining area. The Sky Loft offers two large bedrooms each with two queen-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a dining table for eight.
Dining Options
Guests can choose from several dining options, including El Avion Restaurant, situated under a historic C-123 Cargo plane, serving seafood, Mexican dishes, chicken, meat, soups, and salads. Anaconda Restaurant serves Costa Rican and American breakfast options, plus sandwiches, wraps, salads, and burgers for lunch. La Cantina BBQ features live music and wood-fired steak, chicken, fish, and shrimp, as well as nachos, soups, and pasta. El Wagon offers an up-close jungle ambiance. The Pool Bar provides cold beer, cocktails, and smoothies.
Leisure and Activities
Hotel Costa Verde has three pools open from 7 AM to 8 PM, with the Costa Verde II pool reserved for guests 17 and older. Guests can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. Hotel Costa Verde offers two hiking trails, with more animal sightings in the morning. Additional adventures include the Amigos del Rio tours. The hotel features monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and various bird and butterfly species on the grounds. The Sky Loft provides a party terrace perfect for wedding receptions.
Location and Transport
Located on a coastal rainforest bluff, Hotel Costa Verde is near Manuel Antonio National Park and 10 km from Aeropuerto La Managua. The hotel is located 3 miles from Quepos, where most shops, arts, crafts, clothing, pharmacies, and supermarkets are located. The express bus to Manuel Antonio from San Jose stops in front of the hotel. Taxis are available with a 10-minute pickup time. The public bus passes by the hotel every 15 minutes to the beach and Quepos.
Hotel Services
Hotel Costa Verde offers free parking and in-room safes. Daily room cleaning is provided, with towel replacement for those left on the floor. A laundry service is available if the red bag is dropped off at Reception before 9 AM. Boxed lunches and take-out meals can be prepared for beach, fishing, or park excursions. The front desk can arrange transportation. The hotel provides wedding services.
