historic charm with a prime spot

great restaurantslake viewconvenient location
i found two restaurants right in the building and that's super handy. my room gave me a million dollar view of the lake, i loved that. it was so easy to get to grant park, lake shore trail, and the field museum from there, the area is convenient.
i noticed the housekeeping staff would knock around 9 am, every morning. the room didn't have a 'do not disturb' sign, so i couldn't prevent the early wake-up calls.
Facilities

the gym offers standard equipment, including three treadmills to keep up with cardio. guests can also use two stationary bikes for a low-impact workout, and there is a selection of free weights available for strength training.

The room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower for convenience. windows that open provided fresh air, and a small seating area allowed for relaxation. The decor included dark wood furnishings and neutral-toned walls.
Dining
9/10
A continental breakfast features pastries, fruit, and yogurt. the on-site restaurant offers a varied menu, including vegetarian options. And there are several nearby cafes for additional choices.
