excellent stay close to the seafront

the owners were friendly, always happy to help. breakfast included many choices, a vegetarian option was available. i noticed the seafront is a short walk away. they provide parking at the hotel for all guests.
the decor felt a little dated.

i found the food excellent. it even catered for my wife's gluten-free needs. the evening meal was a total bonus at only £12.50 for 3 courses. jean, michael, and tim were very friendly hosts. parking was available at the hotel and the bar had very good prices.
the decor felt a bit dated for me. dark wood panels felt old-fashioned. i'd prefer something more modern.

The double room included a fridge. This was especially helpful in the hot weather. bottles of water were provided daily? the rooms were super clean. I felt very charmed.

the location is convenient, about 10 minutes walk to the town center. there are pubs and restaurants even closer. the seafront is just a 5 minute walk, we loved it!
