Review summary

Based on recent reviews

CitizenM Zuerich offers a modern, tech-forward experience, as you can control everything in your room via iPad, from the lights and temperature to the TV and even the color of the shower's ambient light. The location is great, being only 10 minutes by foot from the station, allowing easy access to Zurich's main attractions and Christmas markets. Modern and practical stay

convenient location easy reach in-room ipad practical system

I found the location convenient. The supermarket and a restaurant were within easy reach. Everything in the room was easily controlled from the in-room iPad. Temperature, lighting, and tv. The online check-in and check-out system was very practical and efficient.

The room's layout was slightly inconvenient for two people. Access to the bed was limited to one side, requiring one person to climb over the other. This setup may be challenging for some guests needing frequent nighttime access.

Rooms

9/10

The room featured modern technology. The iPad controlled room temperature, lighting, and tv, however, the layout was not ideal for two people.

Facilities

8/10

The hotel offers a self check-in and check-out process. This process emphasizes digitization and is supported by staff. A bar and coffeeshop is located in the lobby area.

Location

10/10

The hotel's location is central. This location is near supermarkets and restaurants, providing guests with convenient access to essential amenities. The area is well-organized and easily accessible.

adequate stay , some issues present

impersonal check-in staff unavailability

the location was convenient , allowing easy access to nearby restaurants and public transportation.

i found the automatic check-in process impersonal , there was minimal staff available to assist with issues. when i tried to arrange a late check-out , the system prematurely checked me out. this led to confusion and the cleaning staff interrupted me early the next morning , thinking i had already departed , communication was exclusively in english.
