the receptionist was lovely. she gave me a warm welcome. the room had great facilities. tea and coffee facilities were filled and complimentary biscuits were available.
there was no wi-fi signal in the bedroom. the receptionist wasn't helpful regarding this issue. the room was dated with worn furniture.

The bar was lovely.. especially the live music. Staff at breakfast provided freshly cooked meals on request and they were delicious. The room was great.
The room door did not shut properly and needed to be slammed. The pillows were terrible and of poor quality. I found a circular burn mark on the duvet cover.

The staff felt tender. The breakfast included many choices. The hotel is near the fire station so I watched the preparations for D-Day celebrations.
The room was cold upon arrival. Reception controls the heating. There were no power points near the bed, and I want to charge my mobile there.
