Activities and Conservation
Chumbe Island Coral Park's activities include snorkeling in the Coral Reef Sanctuary, forest walks, Coconut Crab Walks, and Intertidal Walks. The Coral Reef Sanctuary serves as a breeding ground for fish and corals, aiding in the recolonization of nearby areas. The Forest Reserve hosts diverse plant and animal species, including the Ader's duiker and coconut crabs. Guests can climb the lighthouse for views or relax on the private beach. A book exchange, games, drawing materials, and wildlife guides are available at the Education Center. Snorkeling tours are guided, following UNEP/Green Fins code of conduct. The island has an array of secluded beach huts, sun loungers and swinging beds for you to relax and enjoy at leisure.
