Dining in medieval kitchens
A continental breakfast is served daily at the restaurant, which specializes in traditional Langhe cuisine with a modern twist. The hotel's formal Italian restaurant, located in the medieval kitchens, serves elaborate set menus with fresh local ingredients, including white truffles from the area. The restaurant features a ceiling divided into nine sail vaults in fine brickwork, supported by high pillars. Original paintings of landscapes, flowers, and prominent figures from the Houses of Savoy and Roero are displayed. The cellar offers a range of Piedmont's finest wines, including rare vintages.
Wellness and Relaxation
The Wellness Centre offers a space dedicated to quiet, relaxation, and well-being. It includes an emotional shower, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a jacuzzi, Kneipp treatments, and a salt cave. Treatments include different types of massages and body or facial treatments. Guests can try the interaction of heat and cold, water and steam, scents and colors chromotherapeutic. The sun loungers in the solarium area have been outdistanced according to the guidelines. A dramatic lap pool is available in a cave hewn out of the bedrock.
Gardens and Location
Castello di Guarene is situated on the highest peak of the Guarene hill, looking out onto the Unesco World Heritage Site hills of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. The nearly 25-metre high, three-story building is surrounded by vast, elegant Italian gardens. The gardens were created in the first half of the 18th Century, with hornbeam trees sculpted into fantastical shapes. A bank of glass doors leads out to a terrace with views over the town's red clay roof tiles. Landmarks nearby include Distilleria Santa Teresa dei Fratelli Marolo (3 km), Mercato Big Alba (3 km), and Fondazione Ferrero (4.5 km).
Hotel Services
Castello di Guarene offers services, including separate entrances for suppliers, staff, and hotel guests. Signs and information are placed in each area of the structure to report the correct behavior to follow. Tables are outdistanced either inside the restaurant room and in the outdoor area. All activities will be proposed following and respecting the prescriptions in terms of distance. The car rental and NCC services will be used exclusively for family units. All members of the staff will wear masks and gloves, as well as disposable visors and gowns for Wellness Centre staff.
