“There's a certain charm to a hotel housed in a 250-year-old Grade II listed building, and the extensive gardens here are a definite plus. The function rooms seem well-suited for events, and I noted their commitment to accommodating various dietary needs, which is thoughtful. However, some past guests have mentioned issues with noise and dated decor, so manage your expectations accordingly.”

Everything went smoothly and the room was pleasant. The dinner and next-day breakfast were excellent, with efficient and well-organized service.
My room was unbelievably hot. Turning down the thermostat did not make a difference, nor did the fan.
