super clean room luxurious room river view unhelpful staff lack of assistance ill husband
the room was super clean and luxurious. i noticed everything i needed for my overnight stay was there. the view of the river from the window was lovely.
the man at the front desk was not very helpful. my husband felt unwell after a short time. he passed out and was vomiting, but nobody came to help me get him to our room.

lovely riverside retreat
friendly staff free upgrade double bedrooms
the staff and service impressed me. i received a free upgrade to the adjoining apartment. it was well furnished, with two double bedrooms and an en-suite. we enjoyed a walk along the river to the lock and back.
i noticed the bathroom fan made a constant knocking noise at night. the bedroom window did not close properly. plastic edging on the shower was broken.

soft linen smelling toiletries amazing breakfast
The quality of the linen was amazing, so soft against my skin. i adored the lovely smelling toiletries provided. A small detail, yes, but so thoughtful. the breakfast was amazing!!!
the bathroom mirror light was a bit too bright and i couldn't turn it off.

Riverside Opulence
bubbly arrival river view breakfast selection
I was greeted with bubbly on arrival. It was such a nice touch. The room had a lovely view of the river from the balcony doors. Breakfast selection was excellent. It had an excellent range of starters, pancakes, and main options.
The music from the terrace was loud and a bit irritating! I needed the window open because the room felt stuffy.

The breakfast menu is extensive, also generous portions looked. The hotel served a beautifully presented croquetta with pickled vegetables for lunch. The coffee was very good too. I enjoyed it.

The room included a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods. Complimentary water was also provided. The shower had a strong flowing water. I loved it. There were lots of fluffy towels and bath robes.

The location was great and close to the river. I liked the decor throughout the hotel. A car park was practically next door. This was convenient for me.
