The location was ideal, very close to shops and the castle. i found it easy to walk to everything i wanted to see, including nice coffee shops. the room i stayed in had comfy beds and soft pillows. I slept well.

the tv in my room had limited channels, providing only one channel with picture and sound, i think this is not very nice! it was a bit of a problem.

the room included a hairdryer, ironing board, and fan, a bonus! tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room and i really liked the light, airy bathroom with its lovely hot shower.

the hotel is very close to a pub and just a short walk from the main high street. this made it easy to access dining and entertainment options. i was able to get an really good steak and ale pie nearby.

I was contacted before my arrival to check my arrival time, ensuring i would be received properly. it was a very nice family running the hotel. I appreciated their warm welcome and attention to detail .

the hotel provided good tea and coffee making facilities in my room, perfect for morning beverages. also the hotel didn't provide breakfast, so i tried some local bakeries and a tesco. so there were plenty of options.

The room was a good size with a modern ensuite shower room, and it was light and airy. i found the wardrobe to be a good size. It easily accommodated my belongings. tea and coffee facilities were available, , made mornings easier.

the club in the basement was a bit noisy until late.

Checking in and out was easy. It saved time. the owner was friendly, though i had little interaction. they came back to check me in when i arrived after hours, this was appreciated.

The location provided easy access to the town centre. a wetherspoons pub was almost opposite the hotel, it was convenient. there were shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Everything was within walking distance!

the room was very clean and spacious. the ensuite shower room was modern with good lighting. i found a large wardrobe to store my things and a tv with a decent sound system for entertainment.
